Sheriff nets West Hollywood dognappers By WeHo News Staff, West Hollywood, California (May 10, 2009)Records show no kidnappings in West Hollywood at all for quite some time, but last week WeHo suffered a dognapping.On Sunday evening at around 6:45, May 2, Sheriffs deputies responded to a report of kidnapping on the 800 block of Larrabee.The victim reported that a man and woman had held her against her will and stolen her dog.

Fickett post-WWII Modern and "Googie" structures not-yet designated.Today, with the help of the City of West Hollywood, Mrs. Joycie Fickett, Edward's surviving wife (he died in 1999 at age 83), is working to protect her husband's West Hollywood legacy of five residential buildings ? but faces long odds on the Sunset Lanai 1422 North Sweetzer Avenue.She calls upon the preservation community for help.
