Kim Kardashian is appearing nude, sans photoshop, in Harper’s Bazaar. She has been all over the news, speaking out about her decision to not use photoshop for the pictures as a way to empower women and encourage people to embrace her curves. Kim is gung-ho over this set of nude pictures but she is now saying that she regrets her Playboy spread and wishes she could take it back.

Kim said:

“I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable.” Kim explains she only agreed to pose because her mom Kris Jenner told her to “go for it…” Kim says her mom told her, “They might never ask you again. Our show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.” 

This story is bothersome for a few reasons. It is odd for a mother to push her daughter to pose for Playboy. No mother would encourage her child to objectify herself for publicity or money. Weirder still is why Kim would speak about this, as it makes her mother look like a monster and doesn’t promote their television show and other business ventures in a positive light. Also…not to be a jerk…but…Kim we all saw you having sex with Ray J when that porn tape was released. The Playboy spread was very subtle and beautiful compared to watching you get peed on. Just saying. You go on with your bad self, girl.
