Today a federal judge in Buenos Aires nullified a marriage that took place last week between two men. The judge ruled that no marriage took place "because of the absence of the institution's structural elements." The elements, of course, being a man and a woman. The judge also added, "legal effects derived from the act shall be suspended," and that the marriage license granted be returned within 72 hours or the couple will face monetary penalties. [CNA]
